Governance Officer

Resource Recovery Gippsland is a Victorian State Government Authority that works with industry and Local Government on large scale waste management strategies that divert waste from landfill and recover valuable resources.
We are looking for an experienced Governance Officer to join our team for 12 months.
This role will oversee the governance framework for our organisation and developing and supporting the implementation of policies and procedures.
The Governance Officer will also be responsible for providing critical support to the Executive Officer in the providing secretariat duties to the Board, the Gippsland Local Government Waste Forum and their subcommittees, as well as other meetings as required.
Tasks include meeting preparation and recording and distribution of minutes.

Manager Programs and Projects, Resource Recovery Gippsland

Resource Recovery Gippsland is a Victorian State Government Authority that works with industry and Local Government on large scale waste management strategies that divert waste from landfill and recover valuable resources.
In this exciting new role you will be responsible for leading and managing strategic projects including the Gippswide Kerbside collaborative procurement initiative.
You will use your high level project management skills to conduct problem analysis, engage stakeholders, identify deliverables, manage budgets, write status reports and evaluate programs.
Leading a small and dedicated team you will also represent RRG in a range of forums including Gippsland Waste and Resource Recovery Board, the Gippsland Local Government Waste Forum and their Subcommittees, local industry and community.
