Parks Victoria NAIDOC Week Webinar

During NAIDOC week schools can join in on Parks Victoria’s Connecting to Wadawurrung Culture education webinar?

Ranger Ebonee, a proud Wadawurrung woman and Parks Victoria ranger working on Country, will share the importance of place and cultural connections.

Students will learn the significance of Wurdi Youang (You Yangs) to the Wadawurrung people and the respectful and sustainable approaches to living on Country. Ebonee will discuss the purpose of traditional tools, show examples of shelters and explain the use of the Rock Well located on top of Big Rock.

These live NAIDOC Week events will be held for Primary students on Wednesday 11th Nov from 2-3pm and Secondary students on Friday 13th Nov from 2-3pm.
