Professor Sahajwalla is the founding Director of the Centre for Sustainable Materials Research and Technology at the University of New South Wales.

Veena’s research into waste has helped create a new generation of green materials and products, and her regular collaboration with universities, institutions and community groups ensures new recycling science is developed and applied around the world.
