Climate Adaptation In Agriculture Virtual Symposium For Students
For year 7-10 from the Gippsland region – 16 & 17 November 2020.
Gippsland ADAPT is a program to build capacity in Gippsland youth to respond to climate change impact on food and fibre production.
By engaging young people in the region via online learning modules, a symposium and the Climate Champion program, Gippsland ADAPT will build the awareness of innovative climate adaptation activities occurring within the Food and Fibre industry.
Students will be equipped with knowledge to share throughout their networks (peers, family, school community) and implement it throughout their future decision making and career pathways.
The program is funded by the Victorian Government’s Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. Gippsland ADAPT is designed and facilitated by the CQUniversity Australia Agri-tech Education and Extension team with support from Food & Fibre Gippsland. Find out more…
